Love. Not “The Notebook” kind of love though.
Unknown“Any man can be a father, but it takes a special person to be a dad”
I have no idea why I thought of “The Notebook” when I was typing out the title for this post. Honestly, I didn’t even plan to talk about the film. But since I brought it up, I’m going to tell you that’s my top romantic movie and is also in my top 10 too. My wife might tell you that it’s because it has “my woman” (Rachel McAdams) in it, but that’s false. I just like it. I’ll get back to this at a later post.
Thankful
My wife is passed out on the couch. Our dog, Troy, is asleep next to our son who is jumping like crazy on his bouncer. Bruce, our cat, is taking a nap on the computer chair. Frank Sinatra on Pandora. And every single one of us are full as can be!
Farewell to Goodbye (for now)
6 years ago, this month, I packed up everything I owned and stuffed it into a 97 Mustang. I left a small TX town called Lufkin and moved to Nashville, TN. I still don’t know how everything fit in the car. It was a tight fit for sure.
I remember a small voice telling me, “I’m not promising that you are going to make it, but I promise you, that whatever you go through, that I will take care of you.” (Keep that in your mind as you are reading this)
